These are some of my 3D printed characters used in a tabletop games.
My process is similar for all models. Create a base mesh, block out the design with simple modeling.
Once the base is done I sculpt details like faces, hair and clothing.
I then scale the model and prepare it for print. This typically involves decimating some or all of the mesh before exporting it as an .OBJ.
Once the print is made I paint them using acrylic paints and a small brush.
Each figure is ~1.5 inches tall. The round bases are ~25mm, roughly the size of a quarter.
